Abstract

This paper deals with the regenerative oscillation, generation and monostable pulse operation accomplished when a negative feedback via a liquid crystal modulator and a delay time circuit were implemented onto a bistable magneto-optical device. A theoretical model is developed taking into account the time evolution of the signal at the photodetector input relative to bistable operation thresholds. The theoretical results are in agreement with the experimental ones.
