Abstract

tape for film produced as part of a multimedia piece with the visual artist - Graham Ellard (St Martin’s – London) for the 'Leaving the 20th Century' conference at Bretton Hall. This work investigates points of contact between music and film and the concepts of non-linearity that occur when the two media are created in parallel. The cinematic approach to the structure was most valuable and has led to other research ideas in the area of form in electroacoustic music.
