Abstract
This is the first public gallery in the UK to present a selected survey Adam Chodzko's work from the past seventeen years - over half of which has never been seen in the UK - alongside a major new commission produced especially for the show. Exhibiting over 50 works which, together with the architecture of Tate St Ives, create a journey between notions of borders, communities, the carnivalesque and ruins. A monograph published by Tate accompanies the show, 140 pages, colour illustrations, essays by Andrew Wilson, Lisa le Feuvre, Martin Herbert, designed by Claudia Schenck, Editor; Rosa Ainley.
