Abstract

The mechanical alloying of Ni60B40 and Ni 80B20 elemental powder mixtures leads to nanocrystalline boride phases via a solid state reaction (SSR). The evolution of the SSR has been investigated by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy.
