EURORECAMP: An Alternative Model for EU Security Actorness

Haastrup, Toni (2010) EURORECAMP: An Alternative Model for EU Security Actorness. Studia Diplomatica: The Brussels Journal of International Relations, LXIII (3/4). pp. 61-80. ISSN 0770-2965. (KAR id:38131)

Abstract

The article examines developments in EU external relations using the example of EU support for the development of the African Standby Force (ASF). It argues that through division of labour, the EU is able to achieve its broader goals of 'effective multilateralism' and suggests ways in which this may be further enhanced.
