Abstract
This work was commissioned by the Society for the Promotion of New Music, and uses recordings from the King's Cross Oral History Project. Fragments of this speech are combined with environmental and local sounds recorded in the area. The female voice comments and interacts with these sounds, listing street names, reading text and blending with the transformed electronic sounds.
