Abstract
A sample of patients of seven of the family doctors using Shoreham-by-Sea Health Centre was approached in a postal survey some two years after the centre had opened. They were asked about their opinions of the health centre as a
building, and on aspects of its organisation and on services provided. General practitioners using the centre were interviewed on similar topics a year after the centre had opened.
