Warren, M.D., Warren, J.L., Woodward, S. (1975) Handicapped People in the Community A Survey of Agencies' Records in Canterbury. Health Services Research Unit, 27 pp. (KAR id:24394)

Abstract

A search was carried out of the records of 15 agencies, expected to be deeply involved in helping handicapped people and of the 5 statutory registers of handicapped people, following a three-stage survey of. every

household in the City of Canterbury in 1972, aimed to identify all impaired people living in the community. The objective was to see if an examination of agencies' records is a practical way of deriving a list of handicapped

people in a community.
