Abstract
Knowledge of the biodiversity of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi is limited and keys for their identification are not in a user-friendly format for the nonexpert. An Expert System, linked to the BEG (La Banque Europeenne des Glomales), has been developed on a CD-ROM to produce a multimedia identification system for these fungi.
