Abstract

An extensive empirical study, undertaken by the authors, had the objective of developing a manufacturing strategy tool, in the form of a pair of workbooks, designed to assist companies to enhance the strategic flexibility of their manufacturing and information systems. This paper briefly describes the tool and goes on to consider its potential for facilitating organisational learning.
